FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

A little more
clarity.

Answers about testing, report interpretation and secure verification.

Do I need an account to verify a report?+

No. Enter your certificate number and access key on the verification page. Both are required.

Where do I find my access key?+

The key is supplied separately to the person who commissioned the test. It is not embedded in the report QR code or PDF. Ask the commissioning party if a report was shared with you.

Does a verified report mean the sample passed every test?+

No. Verification confirms that Ophryn Lab issued the report. Each result has its own assessment. A report can be authentic and contain results that do not conform to an agreed specification.

Does 99% purity mean 99% peptide content?+

Not necessarily. HPLC-UV area purity and quantitative peptide content are different measurements and must be interpreted separately.

Can the report confirm a product is safe to use?+

No. Testing is for research purposes. A report does not establish safety for human or veterinary use, and results apply only to the received sample.

How much sample should I send?+

Requirements depend on the peptide, matrix and selected methods. Confirm the required quantity, container and preparation with the laboratory before shipping.

What is the turnaround time and cost?+

These are confirmed before sample submission based on the chosen analyses, method availability and sample condition. No fixed turnaround is promised on this website.

Why has a report been revised or revoked?+

A revised report supersedes an earlier version. A revoked report is no longer valid. The verification record shows the current status, dates and the documented reason.

Are my reports publicly searchable?+

There is no public report directory. Certificate results require the correct certificate number and access key. Protect both credentials when sharing a report.
