Compare the observed molecular mass with the expected mass of the declared peptide. A mass match supports an identity assessment; it does not, by itself, prove the full amino-acid sequence.
Chromatographic purity
What does the chromatogram reveal?
Separate the components of a research sample and report the principal peak as a percentage of the integrated UV peak area under defined conditions.
Peptide content
How much peptide is present?
Determine peptide quantity using an agreed quantitative procedure and a suitable reference standard. Results are reported in the units appropriate to your sample.
Elemental impurities
Are trace metals present?
Screen for lead (Pb), arsenic (As), cadmium (Cd) and mercury (Hg). Each element is reported individually with its concentration and applicable reporting limits.
